vacation destination. There is no dearth for entertainment in Pattaya.
From kids to aged people, it’s got something to share with everyone.
Let us see some of the places to visit in Pattaya, from a Family-Tour point of

Situated in the Northern Pattaya region,
on the headland of Wongamat Beach, is a spectacular wooden building with a
150meter tall centre hall. It is the biggest wooden building in Thailand. An
ancient Thai-carpentry style has been used
in building this temple and is completely carved out of teak wood. This building
was built by Mr. Lek Viriyaphan, the
founder of the Erawan elephant museum. The relics carved in this temple depicts
philosophies of life!
Construction of the sanctuary began in 1981 and is going on ever-since, like a
never ending process. It pays homage to
the creation of man and celebrates art, culture and faith without being tied to
any religion.

2) Ramayan water park:
The largest water amusement park in
Thailand with 50 slides and various other attractions in an area of around
184,000sqm. Practically for any age group, from toddlers to adults. It has 2
dedicated areas for kids, a huge wave pool
and a lazy pool to spend your day in total relaxation. Definitely on the
list of “things to do in Pattaya with kids”.
For food breaks you can go to any of the three large food outlets or swim-up
bars.

3) NongNooch Garden:
Ranking high in the Pattaya tourist
places’ list is this themed botanical garden spanning across 500 acres. A
wildlife
conservation project on a 600 acre land bought by a couple in 1954. It
opened to the public in the 1980s. This place is
not just a garden, it also harbours elephants, martial arts demonstration
shows and massage centres. There are 2
restaurants and a small zoo as well. There are rental houses and hotels with
swimming pools to relax in too.
You can go on a Global garden tour as there are a variety of gardens being
cultivated. Like, French gardens, European
gardens, and any more. Don’t miss the orchids. There are more than 670
native species and hybrids, the largest
collection in the country.

adults
4) Cartoon Network Amazone:
If you are travelling with your
kids, then this is a place which you should not compromise on during your
trip. This will be the best place to visit in Pattaya for your children.
A cartoon themed waterpark? What can be merrier than that for the little
ones? With more than 30 creative water rides
and mascots, like in Disney. Entertainment region is divided into various
sections depending on the age of children
being permitted. It also has a food court with a variety of cuisines.
This place is such that it can keep any kind of family engaged for a whole
day.

Entry fee: Around 1,300 baht for kids, 1,600 baht for
adults and 1,200 for senior citizens.
5) Underwater World:
lace where you can find more colours than on any painting. Probably the
only place where you will be able to see a
cross between a shark and a stingray. You can also touch these beautiful
creatures underwater.
A showcase of the colourful reef tank and corals are just feast to the eyes.
There is also a ship-wreck tank at the end
of a tunnel which shelters schools of fishes found on the shores of Pattaya.
Educational and yet fun and entertaining. The live feeding program
demonstrates how to feed the sharks and stingrays,
which draws great crowds.

6) Mini Siam:
Not everyone is lucky
enough to go on a world
tour. However, if you are able to make some time for yourselves and visit
this miniature world of Mini Siam, it’s like seeing almost all the wonders
of the world. Hence, make it a mandatory
itinerary on the list of places to visit in Pattaya.
Founded in 1985 as part of a research project, it’s a perfect place for a
family outing. It has 29 different sections
featuring major tourist attractions from Thailand and places around Europe.
From Thailand you get to see famous Wats like – Phra Kaeo, Arun, Ayutthaya,
river Kwai, Anantasamakhom throne hall,
kingdom of Lanna and many more.
From the other parts of the world you can see small but accurate relics of
the Eiffel tower, Leaning tower of Pisa,
Angkor Wat temple, London Bridge, Indian and Atlantic oceans and so on.

7) Sriracha Tiger Zoo:
The one of its kind zoo initially
opened in 1994 as a breeding place for many animals such as crocs, tigers,
and others; turned a major international zoo in 1997 spreading awareness
regarding wildlife conservation at the same time entertaining tourists.
The concept of this 100 acre zoo is very different. You will see that there
is a bond between various animals which are
from different species. You will witness a mother pig feeding tiger cubs and
visa-versa. You can also see tiger cubs and
piglets playing with each other in total harmony.
You will be able to take pictures feeding the cubs and also take them for a
walk. These should definitely go on your

involving crocs, tigers, pigs, exotic birds,
elephants and many more.

8) Frost Magical Ice of Siam:
freezing
temperatures in a humid region. It’s possible only in the Frost Magical Ice
of Siam. Sculpted by
some of the most renowned and award winning Thai Sculptors. This area spans
across 30,000 square meters.
One can learn about fairy tales, Thai legends and myths by observing these
ice-sculptures. There are different zones
namely The Himmapan and Siam Heaven. The Himmapan zone has sculptures made
of sand and the Siam zone is full of ice-
sculptures. These are maintained at a minus 10 degree Celsius.
There is also an Ice-Bar located inside the ice zone which offers special
drinks at cold temperatures.
