2) Ramayan water park:

The largest water amusement park in Thailand with 50 slides and various other attractions in an area of around 184,000sqm. Practically for any age group, from toddlers to adults. 3) NongNooch Garden:

Ranking high in the Pattaya tourist places’ list is this themed botanical garden spanning across 500 acres. A wildlife conservation project on a 600 acre land bought by a couple in 1954. It opened to the public in the 1980s. This place is not just a garden, it also harbours elephants, martial arts demonstration shows and massage centres. There are 2 restaurants and a small zoo as well. There are rental houses and hotels with swimming pools to relax in too.

You can go on a Global garden tour as there are a variety of gardens being cultivated. Like, French gardens, European gardens, and any more. Don’t miss the orchids. There are more than 670 native species and hybrids, the largest collection in the country.

4) Cartoon Network Amazone:

If you are travelling with your kids, then this is a place which you should not compromise on during your trip. This will be the best place to visit in Pattaya for your children.

A cartoon themed waterpark? What can be merrier than that for the little ones? With more than 30 creative water rides and mascots, like in Disney. Entertainment region is divided into various sections depending on the age of children being permitted. It also has a food court with a variety of cuisines.

This place is such that it can keep any kind of family engaged for a whole day.

5) Underwater World:

Founded in 1985 as part of a research project, it’s a perfect place for a family outing. It has 29 different sections featuring major tourist attractions from Thailand and places around Europe.

From Thailand you get to see famous Wats like – Phra Kaeo, Arun, Ayutthaya, river Kwai, Anantasamakhom throne hall, kingdom of Lanna and many more.

From the other parts of the world you can see small but accurate relics of the Eiffel tower, Leaning tower of Pisa, Angkor Wat temple, London Bridge, Indian and Atlantic oceans and so on.

7) Sriracha Tiger Zoo:

The one of its kind zoo initially opened in 1994 as a breeding place for many animals such as crocs, tigers, and others; turned a major international zoo in 1997 spreading awareness regarding wildlife conservation at the same time entertaining tourists.

The concept of this 100 acre zoo is very different. You will see that there is a bond between various animals which are from different species. You will witness a mother pig feeding tiger cubs and visa-versa. You can also see tiger cubs and piglets playing with each other in total harmony.

8) Frost Magical Ice of Siam:

freezing temperatures in a humid region. It’s possible only in the Frost Magical Ice of Siam. Sculpted by some of the most renowned and award winning Thai Sculptors. This area spans across 30,000 square meters.

One can learn about fairy tales, Thai legends and myths by observing these ice-sculptures. There are different zones namely The Himmapan and Siam Heaven. The Himmapan zone has sculptures made of sand and the Siam zone is full of ice- sculptures. These are maintained at a minus 10 degree Celsius.

There is also an Ice-Bar located inside the ice zone which offers special drinks at cold temperatures.

The most unique cabaret show in the whole world! Performed by the transgenders, this show is performed on a grand scale with elaborate settings, costumes, makeup. The transgenders are so well prepared and beautifully presented that some people even look up to them and take makeup tips from them.

Their feathery dresses, spectacular gowns, even their swimsuit shows off their elegant beauty. This Cabaret is a 60 min show of grand drama and music. They have three shows. One on Indian Raj, one a tribute to Chinese imperial past and lastly a flourishing end with Siam’s history with a graceful Thai dance.

All these performed by transgenders. Once the show is done, you will be allowed to take a few pictures with these beauties. The show, on a whole, has been tweaked down to suit even the children in the audience.

Alcazar Show:

Greatest cabaret show in Pattaya. They usually say – “If you want to look at a beautiful ladyboys, go to Tiffany; but if you want to see a great show, head over to Alcazar Cabaret Show”.

Initially started in 1981 with just 100 people and a theatre with 350 capacity; the former theatre fell short for its growing audience and now is a humongous, artistic place with a capacity of 1,200 patrons. The complex also has a cafeteria, Thai restaurant and a souvenir shop.

This show is usually compared to the ones in Las Vegas for its grandeur and elaborate performances using high tech props and sets to elevate the show.

Timings: Daily shows for a Duration of 70 min each. Starting at 5pm, 6:30pm, 8pm and 9:30pm.

Entry fee: Normal Seat – 660 baht per adult and per child VIP Seat – 800 baht per adult and 700 baht per child.

Laser Buddha:

A sketch of the majestic Buddha, with one of his hands on his lap and the other on his knee has been engraved on the north facing hill of Khao Chi Chan. The single lime stone hill was once a limestone supplier to a local manufacturing unit. Later to commemorate the King’s Golden Jubilee, the 109 meter tall image was carved on the hill and was then marked with gold on the recommendation of the then patriarch.

It is called the Laser Buddha because the initial designing was made using computer software and drawn on the hill using a laser.

Silver lake:

Supposedly the only Winery in East Thailand. It’s filled with plenty of colourful flowers and is a perfect backdrop for any shoot. This place is popular for its natural views. There are other attractions besides the Winery. There are also elephants, horse carriage rides, cycling, ATV rides etc. A place away from the hustle and bustle of the never sleeping city of Pattaya. A picture perfect place to relax with family and friends and spend a leisure day amidst nature.

Chinese temple:

Also called the Buddha hill, highest point in Pattaya and the biggest Buddha statue. It’s famous for its Chinese style architecture and the sacred area being dedicated to Confucius and Lao-zi. People come here to pray to Wat Khao Phra Bat atop the hill and the monument of Kromluang Chumphon Khet Udomsak, who is regarded as the founding father of the modern Thai navy. The view from atop the summit is un-parallel to anything else.

Baan Sukhawadee:

The Sukhawadee mansion, is basically a museum showcasing beautiful collections of antique arts, iconography, architecture and statues in Thai, Roman, Greek, classical European, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, and Hollywood styles. Built by Thai Tycoon Dr. Panya Chotithhewan the compound also consists of various botanical gardens and stunning buildings with holy images to worship. Spread over 85 acres of land, they also provide buffet lunch or dinner. Cabaret shows and the Thai Classical Dance are also set-up.

Soi 6 Pattaya:

Experience the naughtier side of Pattaya. One of the most notorious parts of Pattaya, sometimes also referred to as Soi Yodsak or Soi Half a Dozen!
